Have you ever been so passionate and excited about something you’ve been working on that you can’t wait to share it with others? That’s exactly how I felt while planning and preparing for WOMEN IGNITE! Fan the Flames of Success, a high-impact experience for women.
While KPG has always been known for content that drives results for our clients, I was especially excited about being able to wrap our content in a retreat designed to help women refocus and recharge. When a group of motivated women get together to achieve goals, it generates a unique energy. Women Ignite! was designed to tap into that energy.
Every moment of the event was designed to provoke thought while building relationships with other women that would last long after the retreat. Countless hours were spent carefully preparing content that was meaningful and immediately actionable, organizing just the right flow of information, and balancing activities designed for connection and deeper conversation. Each woman would leave with a specific plan for success, tools and methods to achieve it, and a personal support & accountability board to help her stay focused in achieving her goals.

After months of planning, the launch date finally arrived! We gathered in beautiful Stillwater, MN surrounded by fall colors (and a little rain), made new friends, worked on building our networks, recharged, and learned to amplify our influence, develop resilience, replenish energy, build lasting habits, how to gain 5 hours of time each week, & more.
How did it go?
I’m thrilled to say it was an incredible success!! I’ve been developing leaders for 23 years and have never had so many leave an event calling it “life-changing”. Just a few of the outcomes:
- Everyone left with a clarity regarding their vision and goals that many said they hadn’t experienced before.
- Applying time management strategies learned during the retreat, hours “found” by participants that could be reclaimed ranged from 10 to 28 hours per week!
- Every participant except 1 (she was overthinking) demonstrated a visible improvement in influence.
- Participants left excited to apply strategies to manage their energy throughout the day and maintain consistently high levels of productivity.
- Women identified “bad” habits they didn’t realize they had that were holding them back and made specific plans to break those habits while developing new habits to help them succeed.
Words from the attendees
Below is just one of the emails I received after the retreat. Each of the messages I’ve received all had a similar message.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience at the Women Ignite Retreat last week. To say that it made an impact in my every day life is an understatement. I met some impressive women that I am going to make sure I don’t lose contact with. I walked away from that retreat with a sense of empowerment, mindfulness, and confidence that I don’t think I have every experienced before. I’m excited at putting the tools I learned to work each day and have already felt much more in control of my life, simply by following through with the commitment I made to myself at the end of the retreat.
You were an excellent teacher. Looking forward to continuing the discussion and holding ourselves accountable through the FB group we discussed.
I’m looking forward to the next retreat this summer!
We’ve added new July, 2019 dates!
