360 Assessments

360 Assessments
There is often a disconnect between our perception of ourselves and how others perceive us. A 360 Assessment is an indispensable tool for individuals who want to understand their performance from the perspective of their boss, peers, direct reports, or anyone else with whom they work closely. We offer multiple options to customize 360 Assessments, enabling us to be sure we provide the exact tool to meet each client’s unique needs.

Mark is an IT Manager who took a 360 as part of a customized leadership development session for his team. He thought he had a good understanding of how others perceived him and it surprised him to find out that his perception was inaccurate. He learned that there were areas his boss thought he could improve that weren’t revealed in his performance evaluations because those used vague forms. The 360 Assessments we developed for Mark’s team targeted specific, relevant behaviors. After reading his 360 report, he knew exactly what he needed to do to meet his boss’s expectations. Mark also found that people outside of his team with whom he worked rated him higher than his peers on his own team. After some personal reflection, he understood why and made a plan to work more effectively with his peers. Although everyone willingly provided him feedback in this format, this was the first time he received honest feedback that was directly related to his performance in his current role. It enabled him to make meaningful changes that increased his ability to collaborate effectively with others.
