Stress and Coping Profiles

Stress and Coping
Stress is an inevitable part of our lives and impacts everything we do. When it gets too high, it can compromise decision-making, problem solving, and even our health. This assessment provides people with valuable information on their personal stress level, their coping mechanisms, and their satisfaction levels both personally and professionally. Individuals learn how stress in one area of life impact another. In addition, they may find they can apply a coping mechanism that is working well in one area of life to another for more effective stress management overall. This assessment is a very fast, inexpensive way to begin to manage stress more effectively for increased performance and satisfaction.

Linda is an executive who knew her stress level was high, but she never stopped long enough to determine the biggest sources of stress for her, how stress impacted her, or what she could do about it. This assessment quickly gave her the information she needed to understand her greatest source of stress and address it. She found that she inconsistently applied her coping skills as well. For example, Linda was using her problem-solving skills very effectively at work, but she wasn’t using them effectively at home. She began to change that immediately and found that by reducing stress at home, her performance at work also increased.

If you’d like to learn more about how you can use this assessment to understand your stress level and how to increase your coping skills, contact us here or call 651-322-7821
